Claire Bock

Claire was born and educated in Australia and completed a Bachelors in Sport & Exercise Science at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Claire has an extensive background in personal training with 5yrs industry experience while running her own business contracting to many gyms in Australia.

Claire has always been passionate about sport as it has been a part of her life since she was 8yrs old, when she took up athletics. Claire has been competing ever since and is nationally ranked in Australia for the 20km Race Walk. Claire still has the passion for the sport and is aiming to compete for Australia in the World Walking Cup (2008), World Championships (2009), Commonwealth Games (2010), and the 2012 Olympic Games.

With the love of sport and wanting to help others achieve their goals Claire started coaching athletes at the age of 15. After leaving school Claire went on to study Sports Medicine to become a sports trainer and first aider (sports injuries/ first aid) at many sporting events. Claire has been a sports trainer for over 7yrs. With the first hand experience on the benefits of weight training on sport (strength & rehabilitation of sports injures) and heath, this lead Claire to personal training so she can help others achieve their goals. Since starting her own business Claire has come across a vast variety of cliental with various goals such as weight loss, general fitness and health to sport and rehabilitation.

Claire has recently moved to Singapore and with her knowledge and experience this has led her to join the team at Body Temple. To help others achieve their sporting, fitness, rehabilitation and weight loss goals.

Claire is a strong believer that everything starts in the mind, and both the mind and body need to work together towards positive changes in one’s life (such as increase fitness and good health).
