Group Classes

Body Temple offers a range of daily group classes for clients to maintain a regular work out, have fun and keep their exercise programs varied. We keep our classes small so we can continue to give close attention to our clients but in a more cost-effective way. Group classes are also a great way to network and meet like-minded women in a supportive and fun atmosphere!

We are constantly changing the group classes we offer to allow our clients to try a range of work outs and to keep things fun and interesting. So keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for the coming month's class schedule!


A popular interval class that mixes calisthenics and body weight exercises with cardio and strength training. Each Punch session is be different, and participants are pushed harder than they'd push themselves! We will keep you guessing and challenge you in different areas each week. Although your instructors may push you like a drill sergeant, our goal is to offer encouragement rather than intimidation. Rest assured you'll have lots of fun – but please be prepared for some high intensity training!


This class builds on TEMPLE PUNCH but also combines a stronger HIIT element, as well as circuit exercises to keep that heart rate pumping the entire class. A challenging class that achieves great results.


We invite women to discover their inner Wonder Woman! In this class, it's all about working the core muscles - our four layers of abs, the butt and the lats. As these foundational muscles get stronger, all other exercises will improve.


HIIT (or High Intensity Interval Training), is a training technique in which you give your all-out, 80-100% effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.


Pilates is a system of controlled exercises that engage the mind and condition the total body. The blend of strength and flexibility training improves posture, reduces stress and creates long, lean muscles without bulking up. Pilates takes a balanced approach so that no muscle group is overworked and the body moves as an efficient, holistic system in sport and daily activity.


This running group is a lovely group that meet weekly on a Saturday morning for an hour-long run. It is for all levels of experience, from those who do not consider themselves a “runner” but would like to, to those who are already running 2-3 times a week, to those training for a big event. Temple Run is great for those who are looking for the motivation that comes with running with a group of like-minded women. Marian Serra leads the group and is a great source of advice and inspiration. Marian can assist with correct running posture, varying your training (intervals, tempo, hills), and advice on different types of strength and circuit training to benefit your running.


This evening yoga class has a beautiful energy focusing strongly on mindfulness, breathing and stretching. Class will begin by introducing a couple of Pranayama exercises (the technique for yogic breathing) to settle the mind and body, followed by a gentle restorative asana class based on the Ashtanga yoga primary series, concluding with a guided short contemplation during end-of class relaxation. Please note this is not a physically strenuous class, but is rather about restoring the mind, body and soul. All levels welcome.


Obstacle Race Series are outdoor competitions designed to test mental and physical fortitude. Like marathons and triathlons they require specific training. Come join us at this session that targets development of strength and conditioning to improve your success at the race. Focusing on building endurance, upper body strength, good balance and safe techniques for overcoming the obstacles during the race, these sessions promise you a complete functional workout. Perfect for those training for Spartan, Tough Mudder and other similar obstacle race events.
