JIMMIE READ 3412 uncropped

Fitness trainer, massage therapist, life coach, and business owner: those are just some of the many hats that Jimmie wears on a daily basis at Body Temple. Having been in the fitness industry for more than a decade, Jimmie brings a wealth of experience and knowledge when it comes to training and caring for your body. Her approach to training is that every woman’s body, mind, and spirit form a symbiotic relationship. Therefore, to successfully achieve her physical goals – and maintain them in the long run – will require bringing her mental perspective into focus and, ultimately, a synergy between all three.

Jimmie’s career started in the hospitality industry before she became a certified massage therapist, advanced personal trainer, and, more recently, a life coach under the Results Coaching System and the Martha Beck Life Coach Training programs. Being a recipient of the powerful effects of life coaching herself, Jimmie knows first-hand the benefits it brings. This experience led to her designing and launching Body Temple’s ‘Beautiful, Inside and Out’ program: a 6-week holistic program that combines life coaching and fitness to help unearth the potential in each woman.

Jimmie also holds a Reiki Level Two Certification, is a graduate of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, and is currently studying the use and benefits of essential oils. In 2009, Jimmie also started The Fit Bar, a company dedicated to educating people on the use and benefits of myofascial release tools. This company is now owned by Magma Technology, where she consults as their educational advisor. Outside of the gym, she loves spending time trekking in Nepal, participating in Nyepi in Bali, and spending time with nature wandering through the snow and pine trees with her family in Washington, USA.
